Dr. Abenojar completed his medical degree at the University of the East – Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. He then proceeded to complete his internship at the Philippine General Hospital and General Surgery Residency & Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Makati Medical Center.

After passing the Board of Plastic Surgery examinations, Dr. Abenojar continued to grow his horizons in the world of plastic surgery. He is a Fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons and a Diplomate with the Philippine Board of Surgery and the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Abenojar has also received an award from the Annual Surgical Forum, MMC Department of Surgery.

Dr. Abenojar has several years of experience, specializing in surgical and non-surgical techniques for aesthetic and reconstructive enhancements. Apart from MAXIM Philippines, he is also affiliated with Makati Medical Center, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, and The Medical City- South Luzon.

One of his specialties is the Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). Dr. Abenojar has performed hundreds of FUT Hair Transplant procedures on clients with limited donor tissue. He also has experience working with those who already had previous FUT hair transplants without giving them an additional linear scar. 

Another specialty of his is Follicular Unit Excision/Extraction (FUE). Dr. Abenojar uses the European Wireless WAW System to perform FUE procedures which is reputable for its ability to treat all types of hair including the thin straight hair and various curl patterns found among Filipinos. 

Besides FUT and FUE, Dr Abenojar also performs eyebrow, beard, mustache, and facial hair restoration surgery as well as other cosmetic surgery procedures.
